Ms Lopez was most recently general manager at Spanish port services company Reyser, which was acquired by DP World in the summer. She has also previously held positions at the port authorities of Coruna, Vigo and Ferrol.
PAV said she was selected ahead of more than 20 candidates with “wide experience and different nationalities”.
